Privacy Policy

1. Data we collect

We collect the answers you submit in assessments and the result they produce, an anonymous session identifier stored in your browser, your email address if you start a purchase, payment confirmation data from Stripe, and basic technical and usage data such as device type and page views, including data collected by the TikTok Pixel described below. We do not ask for your name, phone number or address.

Full payment card details are entered and processed directly by Stripe. I am RED does not store complete card numbers, CVV codes, or other payment credentials.

2. Why we use it

Your data is used to generate and deliver your results, to process payments and restore a purchased report, to understand anonymously how our assessments perform, to operate and improve the platform, and to respond to your enquiries. We do not sell your personal data.

3. Anonymous assessment analytics

When an assessment is completed we store an anonymous record of it: the answers chosen, the result produced, the internal scoring information behind that result, and the anonymous session identifier. This record is not linked to your name or identity, and we use it only in aggregate to check that our assessments behave as intended. Internal and test runs are marked as such and kept out of our real statistics.

4. Email before a purchase

If you choose to buy a full report we ask for your email address before payment. It is used to connect the payment to the correct result, to deliver or restore your report, for purchase recovery, and for necessary service messages about your order. Providing your email does not subscribe you to marketing.

5. Optional marketing consent

Below the email field there is a separate, optional checkbox, unchecked by default, for occasional I am RED updates and reminders. It is not required to purchase and is not part of accepting our Terms. If you tick it we record your choice, the time you gave it and the exact wording you were shown. You may withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email; withdrawal stops marketing messages but does not delete the records of your purchase or service history that we are required or entitled to keep.

6. Checkout analytics

We record the steps of a purchase — result viewed, email entered, checkout started, payment completed, report unlocked — so we can see where purchases are abandoned and restore reports when something goes wrong. Only people who have given marketing consent may receive promotional or reminder messages based on this data.

7. AI processing

AI-powered personalization. Paid Full Read reports are generated using third-party AI infrastructure. Your quiz answers and relevant result metadata are processed only as necessary to generate your personalized report.

Third-party service providers may process this information on our behalf for the purpose of delivering the AI-generated report. I am RED does not use your quiz answers to train its own AI models.

8. Legal basis and retention

We process data on the basis of your consent (optional marketing), our legitimate interest in operating and improving the service (anonymous assessment and checkout analytics, and advertising measurement), and where a purchase is made, to perform our contract with you. Purchased Full Read content is retained for up to 72 hours to allow access and recovery of the report. After this period, the report content is deleted. Anonymous assessment records are kept in aggregate for as long as they remain useful for quality checks; purchase and consent records are kept as long as required by law.

9. Advertising measurement

This site uses the TikTok Pixel, a measurement tool provided by TikTok, to understand how visitors arrive at the site and how our TikTok advertising performs. The pixel records page views and similar usage events and may set cookies on your device. Your quiz answers, results and email address are not sent to TikTok by us. Data collected by the pixel is processed by TikTok under its own privacy policy, and may involve processing outside the EEA as described in section 13.

10. Sharing

We share data only with service providers necessary to run the platform, including providers of AI-powered report generation, payment processing, email delivery, and hosting and technical infrastructure, each under appropriate data-protection terms.

Stripe processes the information necessary to complete payments, process refunds, prevent fraud, handle transaction records, and comply with its own legal obligations. Stripe receives your payment details directly; I am RED does not receive or store complete card numbers or CVV codes.

11. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, withdraw consent, or object to processing. Requests can be sent to red@iamred.me.

12. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. Assessment analytics and stored email addresses are not accessible from the public website. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

13. International transfers

Some service providers may process personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where this occurs, appropriate legal safeguards are used as required by applicable data-protection law.
